Coaching Group Spring Meeting Financial Review
SMA Coaching Groups are peer-to-peer organizations of up to a dozen homebuilders, from non-competing markets across the USA and Canada.
SMA can accommodate practically all types of builders, so every group is unique, but with similar business models and near-term goals. When forming a new group, we look for similarities in the builders’ type of operation (land-holding vs. “build on your lot”), their annual sales volume, type of product (production-portfolio vs. fully custom) and so forth. An SMA principal consultant participates as the group’s coach.

Those results are reviewed and compiled by SMA, and then presented to the group quarterly during their regular meetings, and annually during the group’s in-person spring meeting.
Monitoring by the SMA team: Continual oversight of group progress by the SMA consulting team is a vital part of the Coaching Group program.
Developing lifetime relationships: Coaching group members form professional and personal relationships as a result of their participation in the program.

A. Yes of Course! But new groups require at least least five founding builders who agree to be driving force of their newly formed group. They will work with SMA to grow the group. You may already know one or more builders who would also like to join a coaching group and bringing them to SMA’s attention could be all it takes to get a new group off the ground.
