SMA P&E Workshop is a two-day, intense event. On day one, every participant is involved in a detailed conversation about best purchasing practices in terms of specifications, base house vs. option inclusions, trade contract scopes of work, and material supply agreements. Also on day one, we delve into the best practice pre-construction process, the purchase order system, and setting up a purchasing database to allow for easier estimating and whole house ordering.

Section two covers the purchasing professional’s skills of negotiation and the management savvy needed to set up and run a world class P&E department. Topics include training on leadership, personal and organizational time management skills, rebates and discounts and motivational systems for the P&E department.

All workshops start at 8:30 AM each day and end at 3:00 PM on the last day of the program. SMA Inner Circle member price = $599 for first attendee, $499 for the second attendee $399 and for each additional.
