Workshop Description - This workshop is an intense day dedicated to training hiring managers and company owners on the very best practices in recruiting and interviewing. It also stresses development of a system identifying the “A” player candidates. It goes into great depth training on how to utilize personality and skills testing, reference and background checking and interview guides in finding the right candidate for an open position. 

Audience – This workshop is intended for line and company managers with direct hiring responsibility. We place emphasis on how to do a great job of hiring while maintaining balance in the rest of your busy work day. 

Format – This is a one day format, starting at 9 AM and concluding at 4:30 PM. Lecture, group discussion, role play and case study are all used in the course of the training day. 

Special Workshop Inclusions –The SMA hiring checklist and notebook is given to each attendee at the Hiring Workshop. This checklist has two versions one for local area hiring and one for a regional or national search. Both are made available to each attendee.
