Workshop Description - In part one of the Estimating Workshop, industry estimating expert Russ Neumann will teach the mechanics of the manual residential quantity take off. Estimating formulas and efficient estimating procedures must precede the automation of the estimating process. Come and learn state of the art technique. Bring a set of plans, a scale and a set of multiple colored highlighters or pencils as tools for this session. A basic home plan, given to each attendee by SMA, is used as a training tool during Estimating 101.

Audience – Estimators, estimating managers and company owners and executives are appropriate attendees.

Format – This program is a one day session. Participation is limited in this course to keep the sessions very interactive. This program runs from 9 AM until 4:30 PM.
